TV and Internet Go Together like Peanut Butter and Jelly...

Internet and TV pretty much go hand-in-hand nowadays. You have TV on the Internet but do you have Internet on the TVApparently, the answer is yes!

The makers of TiVo, the couch potatoes’ ultimate TV recording device, are changing the face of TV forever. TiVo will offer a Web interface to YouTube so users can watch all of their favorite YouTube videos on their TV.

That means that instead of wasting endless hours watching YouTube videos online (like I do at work); I will be able to watch them through my TV as well… excellent! With Flixwagon’s new YouTube integration, where Flixer’s can upload their Flixwagon videos straight to YouTube, this new advent means that I can also watch Flixwagon videos through my TV… even more excellent!

I can see it now… friends and family gathered around the TV watching live mobile video of my most recent Spring Break trip. Well, maybe we won’t watch my videos

After crossing the final frontier of combining TV and Internet, users will have “one device, one remote and one user interface,” as described by TiVo Vice President Tara Maitra. One stop shopping, that’s what I like to hear.
