Like many others around the US and the world, we followed almost every bit of coverage on TV and computer screens yesterday of the Obama inauguration. Online, we find that CNN together with Facebook gave the best user experience, in offering a great live stream integrated with users' status updates. We believe this is type of discussing and interacting while watching is where social live streaming is headed (Flixwagon has been supporting live chat between broadcasters and viewers since we launched our public alpha last year).
